We are thinking about a move from a similar sized city in the mid south. Where is the best location in Greater Tampa where we can live within walking distance to markets, shopping, etc. Ideally, we want to rent an apartment just down the block, in front/behind a shopping area. Later, as the jobs shake out, we want a small condo with the same convenient features. Please offer any advice.

I prefer the nude resort area of Land o Lakes, especially Caliente!
